ABOUT THE ART - This work was inspired by my love for what I'm surrounded by in Houma, Louisiana. There is just something empowering about cypress trees and their ability to grow regardless of their situation. I really admire their character, strength and beauty. In this painting I wanted to show just how intertwined strength and beauty are in this delicate balancing act of life.
