Nola Wheels Turning ArtBlock
‘Nola Wheels Turning’ ArtBlock
This work was inspired by my childhood growing up on the West Bank of New Orleans looking across the river at the city full of wonder. 'Nola Wheels Turning' demonstrates the promise of what is to come when we continue to move forward. This is a view of the St. Louis Cathedral through the Natchez paddle wheel as it churns its way down the grand Mississippi River. The movement and progress of this moment in time could be a snap shot take in the 1800's or today, showing that progress transcends time.
What’s An ArtBlock?
A handmade product lovingly created in my studio using one of my paper prints mounted on a 6”x6”x1.75” solid block of stained poplar wood.
How do Display an ArtBlock?
ArtBlocks can be displayed sitting on a shelf or can hang aided by the routed key hole slot on the back which allows the block to sit flush to the wall.
