Nola Wheels Turning
ABOUT THE ART - This work was inspired by my childhood growing up on the West Bank of New Orleans looking across the river at the city full of wonder. 'Nola Wheels Turning' demonstrates the promise of what is to come when we continue to move forward. This is a view of the St. Louis Cathedral through the Natchez paddle wheel as it churns it's way down the grand Mississippi River. The movement and progress of this moment in time could be a snap shot take in the 1800's or today, showing that progress transcends time.
ABOUT the WEARABLE ART PENDANT - handmade glass pendant, hanging from a silver fleur de lis bail. The image is a reduced print of my original impasto style oil painting. Each pendant is signed on the back and sealed with epoxy.
