2024 Fulton St. Ornament
‘Roosevelt’ Ornament
Miracle on Fulton Street…Walking through the giant lighted ornament as the snow dances through the air is like stepping into a magical snow globe, where time slows and everything sparkles with the enchantment of the season. The twinkling lights wrap around you like a warm embrace and each flake that drifts down carries a memory, a cherished moment of laughter and the glow of love reflected in the eyes of those dear to you. It brings back the wonder of childhood, when the world felt big and bright and every corner held the promise of something extraordinary.
Since 2007 Miracle on Fulton Street has enjoyed daily forecast of SNEAUX set to dance through the air every hour starting at noon from the end of November through December bringing the magic and spirt of the holiday season alive for all who visit both young and old. A one-block section of Fulton Street, between Poydras and Lafayette streets is one of the city's most popular outdoor lighting displays where you can meet Santa, take in a 30 foot tall Christmas tree towering over head, walk through a gingerbread village and even enjoy some live entertainment on Fridays and Saturday nights.
Why is the Nola Noel series important to me?
The core of my annual Nola Noel series is the nostalgic Christmas memories made with family & friends throughout the years visiting downtown New Orleans for the holidays. After all memories are what we truly cherish for a lifetime.
What’s Special about this Ornament?
A handmade product lovingly created in my studio using one of my paper prints sandwiched between two pieces of 3” square glass soldered together. Each ornament is hand signed, hangs from a strap of tanned leather and comes in a labeled box with a clear lid.
