Enchanted Serenade ArtBlock
‘Enchanted Serenade’ ArtBlock
Music is so deeply ingrained in South Louisiana's culture that it is literally played through our roots. This was the official poster of the 11th Annual Voice of the Wetlands Festival held on the Southdown Museum Grounds in Houma, LA. Voice of the Wetlands was established in 2004 as a volunteer-based non-profit, focused on driving awareness about the loss of the wetlands in southern Louisiana. VOW was started by musician Tab Benoit who was born and raised in Houma, LA - one of the communities born of the wetlands. A coalition of local artists and business leaders recognized the urgency to save their homes and the culture of southern Louisiana.
What’s An ArtBlock?
A handmade product lovingly created in my studio using one of my paper prints mounted on a 6”x6”x1.75” solid block of stained poplar wood.
How do Display an ArtBlock?
ArtBlocks can be displayed sitting on a shelf or can hang aided by the routed key hole slot on the back which allows the block to sit flush to the wall.
