‘Carver of Paint’

Paint is only waisted when it stays in the tube!

Stacey Fabre palette knives stacked on the painting taboret.
  • With a flick of the wrist, a twist of the tip or edge of knife, an undercut of the paint, I create peaks & valleys in my paintings that remind me of carving & playing with clay.

  • A LIFETIME! You see it's the collective of all the experiences, successes & failures that have developed my style. With every painting I learn something new which builds my technique & efficiency for the next adventure.

The length of time depends on the size and complexity of the piece:

    1 week - 3 months.

  • I paint what I love! I'm inspired by the abundance of architecture, culture & nature that surrounds us in South Louisiana. My goal with each piece to to remind the viewer of how blessed we are & to inject the power of positive thought.

  • Both. I take photos everywhere I go & then used them along with my artistic eye to develop a composition that will lead you through the painting causing you to want to linger taking in all the details.

  • I create only one original but do offer prints in a variety of options. While I won't repaint an original with the same composition I may paint a similar subject matter or different unique angle.
